No-Step Entrance

The No-Step Entrance

The No-Step or Zero-Step entrance can be front, side, back, or through the garage. Whenever possible a roof over the entry is desirable. In designing and constructing the No-Step entry a number of variables will need to be considered. Most sites can accommodate this feature without great difficulty.

Including the No-Step early in the planning phase, before elevations are established makes it easier. To include Visitability in new developments it should be considered in the project planning phase. This is particularly critical in urban settings, where space and regulatory considerations are more complicated.
